Roof bar systems from the market leader Thule are TUV tested and come with a 5 year warranty. Their modular design means that parts can often be re-used when changing vehicles, making for cost effective long term ownership.
The standard Rapid system features load bars in steel with black plastic coating.
Alternatively, you may substitute a standard lateral bar for the new Thule 'WingBar'. These are finished in stylish aluminium, reduce wind noise by up to 90% and drag by up to 55%, even when compared to Thule's previous aerodynamic type bars.
Please note however that some accessories will either not fit wing bars, or may require additional adaptors. This generally only applies to products 5 or more years old, but there are still a few exceptions to this rule. Please contact us if you need further clarification.
