About Our Snow Chains

All of the snow chains we sell are produced by world leading manufacturer Konig. Konig's chains offer the highest quality available. All of Konig's manufacturing is audited to UNI EN ISO 9001 standard, and all snow chains are produced and tested to TUV standard - probably the highest assurance of quality currently available.

As well as producing snow chains for the aftermarket, Konig also produce original equipment chains for various European and Japanese manufacturer's parts programmes. These include Citroen, Peugeot and Mercedes Smart. Their company's strong partnership allows them to develop technical expertise and experience of fitments for a wide variety of vehicles.

As well as chains for cars, MPVs and 4x4s, Konig produce a wide range of chains for heavy goods vehicles, snow clearing vehicles, tractors and special applications. Their experience of producing chains for such extreme applications is integrated into standard chain production, resulting in product designed to be durable and reliable over repeated use.

During 2003, Konig became part of the Thule group, the world’s leading manufacturer of load carriers for cars, rooftop boxes, roof rails, bike carriers and trailers. The acquisition of Konig by Thule further consolidates Konig's position as worldwide market leader in the snow chain market.
